This is me. Also called Grambecca by my six grandchildren. With my husband, I live in the northwest corner of Montana, on Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. I am very close to Glacier National Park, the Crown of the Continent. It is a stunningly beautiful place in which to live. It is also remote and rural with abundant solitude…time to write poetry, photograph, and watercolor, between visits to our grandchildren.
We wake up early here in Big Sky Country and I start most days by going outside in my bathrobe and slippers to see what the skies are like in the morning; long before there is any light in the sky for much of the year. On this blog, I write a bit about how I am finding home here, and share photos, artwork, an occasional poem. Just to get my day started. And to make sure I am paying attention. Rebecca
