01.18.13  This is the SIMPATICO candle we’ve been lighting during our dark mornings.  How could I not love it, given the story about this candle, written in small red lettering on the packaging:

Named after Simpatico Shores, a gathering of family cottages on beautiful Big Platte Lake near Honor in northern Michigan.  Friends and family spent long summer days laughing and living together.  Reading field guides and pouring over reference books.  We found our inspiration in nature, love, imagination and reminiscence.  These inspirations are the foundation of the Simpatico line, “keeping us in tune and connected”.  Made with fine ingredients, a bit of surprise and some nostalgia.
